It almost goes without saying that you should be able to update the content of your website quickly and easily. You're not in business to maintain websites, afer all. Your content management system (CMS) should make the kinds of updates you need to make as painless as writing a memo.
Your website probably launched with a CMS that seemed painless at the time. Sometimes the CMS is as simple as an upload form and a set of HTML templates with "page body goes here" in them. Sometimes it's a more powerful and flexible tool, but the way it was configured really doesn't serve your needs as they have changed over time. (See Website Review for a discussion of that.)
